Smile Design

The principles of smile design can be applied to any patient, but follow a strict structure of the following: diagnosis; prototype fabrication and modification; cementation of the final restorations.

The diagnostic stage is absolutely essential for a successful outcome. It combines radiographic examination with digital photography to produce full diagnostic "waxed ups" of the proposed restorations with the correct occlusal scheme.

At this stage digital image manipulation is commonly used to enable the person to visualise the end result.

This diagnostic stage allows the clinician to give a costing for the procedures needed to produce the end result envisaged.

The cost of this stage is £360; this fee is non-refundable.

Teeth Whitening

We offer 5 different procedures here at North Street Dental Practice.

1) Power whitening alone. This is for people who want an instant gleaming white smile. Will whiten an average of 6-8 shades whiter in about an hour. Teeth will need isolation for this prcedure. Cost £300.

2) The "kick Starter". Requires whitening guards to be made. Two 30 minute appointments requires followed by 3 weeks of "homework". Cost £250

3) "Homework whitening" alone. Cost £250 
 
4) "Vitesse whitening" (recommended). Combines power whitening with homework whitening. Most people get to the whitest shade of B1 after 3 weeks. Cost £410

5) "Stock tray" whitening. Uses manufactured trays with incorporated whitening gel. This is tooth whitening on a budget. Variable whiteing obtained . Box of 10 trays £150
