Dr Fitzpatrick qualified from Liverpool Dental School in 1986. After two years in general practice, he spent twelve months in Sydney, Australia, working in a practice dedicated to cosmetic dentistry. On returning to the UK he completed a one-year course in advanced restorative dentistry with Paul Tipton.

He obtained his Diploma in General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992 and his Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis from UCL in 1994. He has since completed a one-year course in advanced cosmetic dentistry with Howard Stean, and further one-year courses in Implantology and cosmetic dentistry at the Tipton Institute in Manchester. Most recently he completed a 14-month course in Advanced Implantology, including advanced anatomy and bone grafting courses in Washington, USA, along with a certified course in applied anatomy for advanced implant placement and a course on implant aesthetics.

Dr Darko Bezhoski first qualified in Macedonia in 2009 and has since built extensive expertise across implantology, restorative treatments and modern aesthetic dentistry. In 2026 he was awarded an MSc (Clin) in Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry and Implantology from the University of Greater Manchester, building on his Diploma in Implant Dentistry (2023) from COLDS at the same institution. Earlier in his career he gained an MBA certificate from Ivey University in Canada (2017) and certification in cosmetic dentistry from Edelweiss (2015), combining strong clinical expertise with a broader understanding of patient care and practice management.

Registered with the UK General Dental Council as a Doctor of Dental Medicine since 2021, Dr Darko is dedicated to ongoing professional development and regularly attends postgraduate courses, lectures and conferences to remain at the forefront of implant, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Associate Dentist in private practices across the London, Oxford and Peterborough region with extensive experience in Restorative Dentistry, with a focus in Endodontic therapy. Main studies completed at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, acquiring the professional title Doctor of Dentistry.

Completed postgraduate studies at the University of Bolton, gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics, and currently undertaking an MSc dissertation in Surgical Endodontic Treatment. Committed to following new innovations and advances in Endodontic treatment in order to provide high-standard, evidence-based patient care.

Dr Filip Agatonovic obtained his professional dental qualification in Serbia in 2016, pursuing further training at the distinguished Military Medical Hospital. After successfully completing the state registration examination he commenced a career in private practice, returning to the hospital to complete an advanced post-degree professional development course. He subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom, where he now runs his own private dental practice.

He has a special interest in periodontology, implantology, digital dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. In 2023 he was awarded a Master of Science degree with distinction in Periodontology from the University of Greater Manchester, and is currently undertaking an MSc in Clinical Implantology at the same institution. He participates in numerous advanced training courses and lectures, with an emphasis on periodontology, implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Peter is a Clinical Dental Technician specialising in private dentures, implant-retained prosthetics and cobalt chrome frameworks. As a certified BPS and SEMCD provider, he has a particular interest in complex and challenging denture cases, with a strong focus on delivering comfort, confidence and natural-looking results. He takes a calm, patient-centred approach, carefully tailoring each treatment to the individual and providing ongoing support throughout every stage of the denture journey.

Peter is committed to continually developing his skills through advanced training both in the UK and internationally — his next journey is set for Japan, where he will expand his knowledge of innovative techniques to further elevate the quality of care he provides.

Gemma first discovered her passion for dentistry at the age of eighteen while working as a dental nurse, and in 2006 she qualified from the University of Bristol with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. In 2007 she returned to her hometown of Bourne and has been with North Street Dental Practice ever since, building strong, lasting relationships with colleagues and patients. Gemma is committed to providing the highest standard of care, with a particular focus on helping patients feel at ease and reducing any anxieties surrounding dental treatment.

Outside of work she enjoys a busy family life with her husband, two children and an energetic dog.

Julie has been a dental nurse for nearly 40 years, bringing a high level of experience and professional expertise to our clinical team. She holds the National Certificate in Dental Nursing, qualifying in 1994, and has been a member of the team at North Street Dental Practice for over 20 years, providing dedicated and caring support to our patients.

While experienced in all areas of general dentistry, Julie has a strong professional interest in cosmetic work and assisting with advanced dental implant treatments, helping patients achieve a confident smile.

Outside the Practice

Julie has lived in Bourne since 1999. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going for long walks in the countryside, and spending quality time with her family and grandchild.
