The treatment process

  1. 1

    Consultation

We discuss your goals, design your new smile and check suitability for veneers.

  2. 2

    Preparation

Minimal shaping of the teeth (mainly for porcelain) to make room for the veneers.

  3. 3

    Application

Composite is sculpted directly onto teeth; porcelain veneers are bonded once custom-made.

  4. 4

    Final adjustments

Polishing and bite checks to make sure everything feels comfortable and looks beautiful.

Looking after your veneers

  • Brush twice daily and floss regularly
  • Attend routine dental check-ups
  • Avoid biting hard objects (ice, pens, nails)
  • Limit staining foods and drinks
  • Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth
  • Schedule polishes to keep them looking fresh

Are veneers right for you?

Veneers are suitable for many patients, but may not be ideal if you have active gum disease, tooth decay, very thin enamel, or heavy teeth grinding (unless managed). Your dentist will guide you on the best option for your smile.

What to expect

Some short-term sensitivity is normal. Most patients return to normal eating within a day or two.
